Marta Rial Vázquez (Marthazul)
Born in Vilagarcía de Arousa, Galicia, Spain, and still living there.
She started painting at 6 years old and in 2004 graduated in Fine Arts with the painting speciality. Her main elements are hair, eyes, hands and water. She teaches how to paint to kids in her studio, where she spends most of her time. Had a residency at A Solaina de Piloño (Galicia, 2004) which opened many surprising doors. In 2005 participated as a long distant collaborator in Identidades.02 (Morelia, México), was in a Harlech Biennale (Wales) and had her first solo in her city. She was the Galician organizer of Identidades.03
