Ireri Castro Moreno

Born in Mexico DF, loves in Morelia, Michoacán.
Graphical designer for the National Institute of Fine arts and visual artist for San Carlos’ Academy, the Intercontinental University and the National Institute of Fine Arts. Even though, she considers herself self trained in her diverse forms of plastic experimentation. She is actually studying sculpture in the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo.
Her individual relevant exhibitions date from 1993 in Oaxaca’s city, the city of Mexico, Celaya, Durango, Sinaloa, San Luis Fortune and Morelia. Internationally she has exhibited supported by INBA and the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Berlin, Antwerp, and Kenya. Collectivelly has shown in the Palace of Fine Arts of the City of Mexico and also in Paris and London.
With regard to the projection and social interest of the artist, she exhibited in the context of the events of violence happened in Morelia city during 2008  ” Fragility … the life in a thread ” realized in the main square of the city.
Pladi Condesa and San Jerónimo exhibited recently in the gallery Mutations 2010.
Has been rewarded as a designer and was winner in the 6th Women’s International Meeting in the Arts, ” Art Sensibility and Talent .”

Edits the blog md22 art multidisciplines, and took part in MMX:: Artistas mexicanas en el 2010. Now opens 2011 collaborating in eyeseverywhere collective international project.
